Be Explicit
MonoMac and I create comictoolx

This is more of a “see how far I can get before I get bored” project.  Plus, I wanted a CBR reader for my new mac mini.

Using NUnrar and ever improving MonoMac tutorials I’ve created something that actually works.  Apple did most of the heavy lifting for me by creating ImageKit and having some decent documentation for it.  A nice MonoMac developer also recently added bindings for ImageKit in MonoMac, something I was unable to really figure out.

The cool new hip thing is to use GitHub for source control, so I’ll be doing that for comictoolx and whatever else mac related.

I’m not really putting out a release yet since I want to do more clean up, but it works.  Though, you’ll have to hack in NUnrar.Mono from the current source since I haven’t made a release that for sure works against mono.  I’ll do that soon.
